Tip: The tip of the pipette is the part that comes into contact with the liquid, usually a disposable plastic product to prevent cross-contamination. Tips come in different sizes and types to accommodate different volumes of liquid handling needs.
Volume adjustment device: There is a volume adjustment device on the pipette that can set the volume of liquid to be sucked or discharged. Users can adjust the range of the pipette according to experimental needs to achieve precise liquid handling.
Piston and spring system: The piston and spring system inside the pipette controls the suction and discharge of liquid by pressing and releasing buttons. Press the button, the piston moves, and negative pressure is formed to suck the liquid; release the button, the piston resets, and the liquid is discharged.
Display window: Some high-end pipettes are equipped with a display window that can clearly display the currently set pipetting volume, which is convenient for users to perform precise operations.
