Urinalysis Reagent Test Strips

The PocTell^® Urinalysis Reagent Test Strips (Urine) are firm plastic strips onto which several separate reagent areas are affixed. The test is for the qualitative and semi-quantitative detection of one or more of the following analytes in urine: Ascorbic acid, Glucose, Bilirubin, Ketone (Acetoacetic acid), Specific Gravity, Blood, pH, Protein, Urobilinogen, Nitrite and Leukocytes.

Refer to kit box label for the specific analyte(s) listed, and compare to the appropriate analyte(s) and color blocks on the color chart for results.

Urine samples from 125 subjects were tested using PocTell^® Urinalysis Reagent Test Strips. The same samples were tested on another commercially marketed URS strip and the results were compared.

Powered by advanced dry chemical technology, the Poctell Urinalysis Reagent Test Strips break the dependency on cold chain logistics common with traditional liquid urine test reagents, significantly reducing transport and storage costs.

Storage and Stability Store as packaged in the closed canister or the sealed pouch either at room temperature or refrigerated (2–30℃). Keep out of direct sunlight. DO NOT FREEZE.

The strip is stable through the expiration date printed on the canister label or the sealed pouch. Do not use beyond the expiration date.

To maintain stability, do not remove the desiccant inside the canister. Remove only enough strips for immediate use and replace the cap immediately and tightly after each use.

Note: 1. Strips packaged in the sealed pouch should be used immediately after opening. 2. Stability may be reduced in high humidity conditions.

Room Temperature Storage Feasibility

Unlike wet-reagent urine test systems, Poctell Urinalysis Reagent Test Strips are engineered for room temperature storage, eliminating the need for dedicated refrigeration equipment or cold-chain transportation.

Extended Shelf Life

The test strips maintain stability for up to 8 months at room temperature (when stored in original closed canisters or sealed pouches). This minimizes product waste and simplifies inventory management for diverse medical settings, including clinics, hospitals, and primary care centers.
