Why is rapid detection of fentanyl necessary?
Fentanyl is a very powerful synthetic opioid that is about 100 times more potent than morphine. Fentanyl abuse,which can cause respiratory depression, coma and even death, posing a serious threat to public health and safety. Because of its extremely strong potency, it is often illegally mixed into other drugs, which cause users to unknowingly consume excessive amounts, with extremely high risks. Therefore, in clinical emergency treatment, drug abuse screening, and forensic toxicology, rapid and accurate detection of fentanyl is of vital importance. Although traditional laboratory confirmation methods (such as GC/MS) are precise, their processes are much complex and time-consuming, and they cannot meet the urgent need for on-site immediate screening.

Result Interpretation
Positive: Only a red band appeared in the control zone (C), while no red band appeared in the detection zone (T).
Negative: There is a red band observed in both the control zone (C) and the test zone (T).
Invalid: No red band was observed in the control zone (C), indicating that the test is invalid. A new reagent should be used for a new test.
Sample type
Human urine. Samples could be stored at 2-8 ° C for 48 hours. For long-term storage, it is much recommended to keep it below -20℃ and avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
