From the front to the back, the blood butterfly needle is a hypodermic needle, two bilaterally flexible "wings", a flexible small-caliber transparent tube, and a connector at the end. The connector can be connected to other medical equipment, such as a syringe, a vacuum blood collection tube, or an extension line from an infusion pump, intravenous injection, or blood transfusion bag.
